Ordered takeout from this cute little place.. I ordered Lunch to go. The waitress who took my order was delightful giving me her suggestion for a lunch I wouldn't soon forget. The wrap was delicious and came with a fresh salad,plus they had sweet potato fries YUM! Overall excellent service and quality of the food. Two thumbs up.

Never a Bad Meal. We absolutely love Milk & Sugar Cafe. Have been to the cafe on multiple occasions and have ordered the catering for special events. The catering is fabulous, they deliver and setup everything for you. The cafe is also great for a date or a girls night out. Be patient. It is popular and wait times may occur during busy Saturday nights. (We normally take a walk around town)

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The service was terrible.

The manager/owner was a piece of work. She was rude and very unprofessional

We had no silverware, had to wait five minutes after getting our food to get silverware.

My friend ordered a hamburger medium rare, it was well done, sent it back, came back again well done. Returned it again, only to wait another twenty minutes to be served another well done hamburger.

Prior to my friend getting her third well done hamburger, I called the manager over. She came clumping over with her hands folded as if we were annoying her. We tried to explain what was happening and she just put her hands up and said this is the first time she was hearing about it. She kept asking my friend if she wanted her lunch or did she want it thrown out or donated to the local church. What a thing to say.

She then went back to the kitchen only to bring back the third well done hamburger which my friend returned.

I ordered a hamburger with fried onions and sweet potatoe fries, got the hamburger but no onions and no fries. Sent it back, they eventually brought me what I wanted, it was just cold.

I put my fork down as you should between bits, and twice a different bus boy asked me if I was done. I was no where near finished eating.

The bus boys were sweeping the floors as we were eating, which I feel is gross.

Apparently this manager is not to much into customer service.

Girls Day Out. My sorority sister suggested that we visit this quaint little cafe. I thought it was the cutest thing. The service could have been a little faster but my meal was great.

Overrated, Mediocre & a Waste. Had lunch here on saturday. Here's a synopsis: Wait? Told 40 minutes, was actually 1 hour 15 minutes. Horrible Service: 15 minutes to wait for water. Order: After waiting 45 minutes, a CHEESEburger ordered Medium Rare came out a burnt charcoal of a burger, no cheese. Coffee drinks (ordered without whipped cream) came WITH whipped cream, but no espresso shots in them. This place is all smoke and mirrors. If the food and service was any good, they wouldn't need all the cheesy faux bed and breakfast decor (e.g. antique sewing machine in restroom (?!?) The only reason this place is popular is because it's on Long Island - it would be a miserable failure in any metropolis.
