Excellent Lobster Roll. Best lobster roll I ever had. Seems like they coarsely chopped and ENTIRE Lobster (tail, claws, legs) and put it in between a tasty Croissant. Can't wait to return. Of course, being right on the beach is awesome. Antonio the bartender rocks (aka Robert) Try his drink-of-the-day special. Enjoy Anna Ava

Worst meal ever. Just about the worst meal I've ever had at any price (and this one was expensive). Service was friendly, although he failed to mention the specials, never asked what we thought of the meal (wish he had), and was very quick with the check even though place was not very full. I should have just ordered fish and chips - fairly fool proof- but I wanted something interesting. I am not picky and just as happy with a burger or takeout chinese as fine dining, but this food was unbelievable even by takeout standards. My guest thought her meal was ok but I thought it was pretty bad. I actually had to remove the scallops from my mouth as they were inedible. Pizza place looked great; I'll be kicking myself for sometime to come that I didn't just eat there.

WOW! Need I say more.. My Friends and I spent memorial day in fire island coming from NYC. it was our first time so we did not know what to expect. We got to fire island late around 4pm. went to a house party then time for drinks then another house party. lots of walking then we got very hungry so the nice man in the purple rhinestone shorts told us to go to cherry grove for dinner. So off we went walking (water taxi was not around) and walking finally we arrived to JUMPING JACKS! after a long day we have the BEST food ever! and the service was very inviting! the hostess who sat us told us she designed the menu herself so she told us what her specials were! as i gave all the wait staff light necklaces that I had in my purse as a gift. our food came! I had the Best shrimp & lobster pasta! My friend had the Tuna it was very fresh and cooked to perfection! Oh and the sangria was yummy! all in all we had the Best dinner the Best service and a great cozy relaxing time after a fun day!!! TWO THUMBS UP! *****

The oceanfront view--either from the dining room or the patio--is the restaurant's greatest asset. The menu mimics the surroundings, with lobster night every Friday, a raw bar on weekends, plus a regular roster of steaks, burgers and chicken dishes. Cocktails come in all shapes and sizes, but the vodka-spiked Rachel's lemonade is an island favorite. Works by local artists hang on the walls and match the beachy and low-key vibe.
