the best manager in hamptons. i come to this place every week-end(where else would i go?!),thats the best place to go out here have fun, enjoy the food and of caurse see my favourite crazy manager.

i read the reviews,to tell you the truth ,i was amazed, i have never seen chef outside, waiters are friendly and tireless, and when it comes to the manager first of all he never wears the tie( as one of the reviews says) he is charming without the tie anyway, and second he is always in the best shape. and if he was so kind to turn and pay attion to someone, even if he smoked in their face, consider it the biggest blessing in their life. im so sorry that someone couldnt see that the whole charm and insparation of that place is the "crazy" manager .

Not worth the effort..... After hearing what a great experience it is to go to Saracen (" A MUST if you're in the Hamptons" I was told), I was anticipating great food, and service before heading to the dance floor.... what I got instead was an experience beyond abismal. The manger who, at first seemed charming although positively reeked of smoke, had next to no knowledge about the menu and even less about the wine list was plying us with bad cliches and one liners until he finally sat us. Our server barely found time to attend to us and behaved as though our presence was an inconvenience. The food was average, the fish overcooked but still the best part of the experience thus far. When it came time for cocktails an dancing, the poor service continued at the bar. The aforementioned manager was unable to help in calling a taxi and had on a grease stained tie. Not sure what all the fuss is about.... Saracen isn't worth the time, the money or the energy it takes to flag down a server.

A true Hampton Experiance!. Listen this place has great food a great bar scene and great music! I just wish someone worked there! It seems like you cant tell the help from the customers. Service is not great. The Chef is usually outside, the waiters are dancing. It?s a crazy place but I love it. The food is amazing! the ambiance is great a true Hamptonesq experience. Bring some cash because after paying for your great meal its time to get to check out the bar and dance! Some beautiful people come to this establishment you may meet your summer fling there! Overall a very fun place to eat, It's Loud, Fun, and a true Hampton experience!

Horrible Service and Attitude. Been going here for a while and service was always spotty (food is pretty good though) - this time waiter told us he was too busy to bring some more bread and a second cup of coffee! He wouldn't be allowed to act this way unless management let him - done with this place - so many other good places in the hamptons

Mediterranean restaurant in the Hamptons turns into an unofficial nightclub on Saturday nights.. The Scene
At first glance, Saracen looks like a fairy tale tudor: cream-colored wainscoting, views of the adjacent creek, an enclosed porch and a dance floor fit for waltzing. But after dinner on Saturdays, this dreamy-looking Mediterranean restaurant turns carnivorous, containing what often seems like the Hamptons' entire singles scene in its various, multileveled rooms. Come one come all: young and old alike are known to shake booty on the crowded floor.

The Food
A wide selection of Italian dishes--heavy on generously-portioned seafood and pasta--keep the place well-attended every night of the week. Salads are fresh and bountiful; appetizers are unusual, particularly the charred gamberetti (grilled rock shrimp) and spiedini di mozzarella (a breaded lump of mozzarella, a little soggy with sauce). Execution on entrees can be spotty: The veal chop, pan-crisped salmon and squid-ink linguine with crabmeat are often overdone, although the roasted sea bass is usually tender and the lobster ravioli is creamy and filling.
