GET YOUR BEST HAIR DONE HERE!. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SALON! Staff is friendly and amazing, I get treated like a queen when I go there. My favorite stylist is Tasso, he is out of this world! My haircuts last so long and my hair looks AMAZING when I leave there! Deana the colorist is top notch, my hair always looks shiny and beautiful. I would recommend going to this salon to everyone for the high quality service and style you will get from there...they listen to your needs and wants and provide to the max!

Whoever wrote the bad reviews sounds more like a disgruntled employee than an actual client-this is the only salon I would ever let touch my hair!

Jon Megaris is a wonderful hair stylist. I've been getting my hair cut by Jon Megaris since 2000 or so. He's the best cutter I've come across on Long Island.

There are lots of people who cut hair, however there are very few people who actually know how to give a proper haircut and even fewer who can create the perfect style for a particular person's face and their kind of hair. That's Jon Megaris.

I'd recommend him to anyone who wants a proper haircut.

Not such a great place. Jon Megaris Salon in Plainview is terrible. The owner is rude and obnoxious.

The service you'll receive at Jon Megaris Salon in Plainview is HORRIBLE. They will make promises and not keep them, they will make appointments and not keep them.

I would recommend that absolutely NOBODY should book with Jon Megaris, but if you do make sure it's a binding written contract because they are notorious for cancelling on girls last minute and in some cases, not even showing up on the day of the wedding, leaving countless brides miserable on what should be the perfect day. They act like a doctors office and triple book appointment slots so to make more money, but in the end they don't pay any attention to you and will rush through doing your hair.

My friend got married last year her 5 bridesmaids got lice after getting their hair done at Jon Megaris Salon in Plainview, NY.

The above is just my opinion, but I would highly recommend staying away from this salon if you want to keep your special day SPECIAL.
