In Short
Bypass Amagansett and Montauk village, and travel further to this outdoor-only clam shack. The vast wooden deck, perched at the intersection of two intensely blue waterways, provides unbelievable vistas any time--day or night. The shack is known for its chunky chowder, overflowing lobster rolls, and "naked" fish (unbreaded and unfried). It has a daily special of four to six fresh fish options, plus plenty of Maine lobster.

The review from Citisearch is accurate, this is a great low-key place to sit outside, BYOB and have some lobster tails while watching the sunset. Nothing else needs to be said - right off Montauk Highway it's a bare bones, casual spot to wind down the day.

This is my favorite place in the Hamptons. The prices are reasonable and they have the best tasting and freshest seafood. You can also bring your own liquor (they don't have a liquor license) and just sit on the deck and watch the beautiful Montauk sunset.
