Food fit for a real chef. I cook for a living. I order from here on my days off...as do my other chef friends. Need I say more?

Consistently Great Food!. Whenever I drive out the Hamptons I always make a stop at Foody's which is one of my alltime favorite casual food places. Their prices are extremely affordable for the Hamptons, and the food is always amazing. They incorporate locally grown food products into their dishes, and consistently put out a great product. My kid loves the buffalo chicken pizza and their spaghetti with flavorful meatballs, my wife usually opts for the mixed salad topped with their signature wood grilled chicken breast and house vinaigrette, while I usually always get an appetizer of delicious, extra meaty, wood grilled wings with their homemade barbecue and buffalo wing sauces for dipping, cuz I like variety :). After the wings I might go for one of Foody's specials of the day, which usually includes a smoked meat such as pastrami or brisket, or I just simply go for a thick buffalo burger cooked perfectly, nice and juicy, and served on these awesome, fresh, crusty rolls they have there. I usually walk out of this place busting at the sides. Foody's comes highly recommended in my book!!

Great food Great location. We found Foody's on a drive out to visit friends in East Hampton. We just looking for something close and easy to get in and out. Foody's was located next to a nice little market and offered lots of easy parking a plus during the busy season in the Hamptons. The proprietors were friendly and took our order promptly and offered suggestions on some nice seasonal fare. I opted for a steak sandwich and my wife went for the ribs a very wise choice, while my kids went for the pizza. Despite the fact that my sandwich was rather large I eaisily wolfed it down and managed to polish off my wife's ribs which were fantastic! The pizza was excellent later cold so I can only imagine that it is even better fresh out of the oven. An all around excellent experience that leaves me looking forward to my next bout with Long Island traffic. :)

skip it. looked good from the outside. i was told my take out order (2 sandwiches and a soup) would be ready in 15-20 mins. it actaully took almost 50 minutes, with no apology. i drove home and tasted the eggplant parmesan hero which was INEDIBLE due to the eggplant being practcally raw. my husband though his grilled chicken sandwich was ok. The minestrone soup was flavorless. Very dissapointing considering the long wait. And really, how can you serve barely cooked eggplant??

Editorial Review. Italian eatery serves wood-grilled meats, pizza, pasta and salads, along with offbeat dishes such as watermelon gazpacho and tortellini soup.

Hidden Gem. I came across Foodys last week while visiting some friends in Southampton. Although its kind of hidden in a shopping center that has a Blockbuster and Citarella, this place is fantastic and has the best gourmet pizza Ive had out East. A friend who tried the grilled chicken said it was cooked perfectly. Its also very affordable for the Hamptons.
