Outstanding food, service & manager, John. Blackstone's is a superb restaurant! The manager, John is an outstanding asset and consummate professional, the staff is superb! The service and food is impeccable! If you want the BEST dining experience in NY, go to Blackstone's Melville. It is my favorite restaurant in NY!

They do it right!. This is the place that gets it.

They do it right here, the food is top quality, the service is very professional, and the prices are reasonalble.

They are masters at what they do.. They are masters at what they do. A unforgettable dining experience. A place not to miss if you are a steak lover. No place like in on either the North shore or the South shore of Long Island. The porterhouse for 2 can't be topped! I am hooked on this wonderful place. The service is remarkable as is the food. Excellent steak, sides and service. Very accommodating staff and a nice atmosphere. What more can I say?

The Best on Long Island. I've been to them all, North Shore, South Shore, and Manhattan.

As far as I'm concerned this is the best. The best Steaks the best service and the prices are right. None of that typical bad Steak house attitudes are found here.

outrageous sushi!!!. I have dined at Blackstone several times, each experience outdoing the last! They have amazingggg sushi! my fave by far. The steaks are good too, but i'm more of a seafood & sushi lover. I have had a giant shrimp entree that was full of flavor and texture, but the shrimp were still raw in the center. (tsk tsk kitchen) Overall, this place is awesome though- the service is really great, many friendly people, the manager is available & caring (don't remember her name though-sorry!) and they have a beautiful fireplace too- volcano roll all the way! A+++++

Very Nice Restaurant, delicious food. I've dined at Blackstone on two separate occasions, and both experiences were very positive.

The hostesses are clearly hired for their looks rather than their tact and diplomacy, but the wait-staff is without fault. On both occasions we seemed to have two waiters assigned to our table, which was unusual but not disconcerting: we just had twice the help. The Sushi is incredible--we had the Spicy Roll, which included Jalape?os and Tuna. The salads are very good, including pear slices and candied pecans (pretty typical, but very well-executed). I thoroughly enjoyed the ribeye (too big to finish), but the much vaunted "hashbrowns" were not good at all. The broccoli with a hint of ginger likewise disappointed. On a previous occasion, I had the mignonettes of pork tenderloin, which was very well-seasoned and tender. I would recommend this restaurant to someone looking for a good steakhouse a notch above your Ruth's Chrises.

not worth the hype. went to blackstone the other night had an awful experience. first of all we waited 45 minutes for a table which we reserved for 8:30pm. they didn't even offer us a drink or anything to compensate for the long wait. i heard a lot of people complaining about the wait and some were offered a round or complimentary appetizer. dinner was just ok and nothing special. i've been to their other restaurants and felt that i was treated much better. the sushi was good but not worth the price. we had to ask our server over and over again for things such as steak sauce and drinks. no one, not even the server, asked us how everything was. i guess they know.
