Best "novelty" restaurant food in LI.
Move over Fridays, Applebee's, Chili's! Wow! Smokey Bones gets double thumbs up!
The atmosphere is basically the same as the usual quick dine and drink place, but the food is top notch. I ordered "The West Coast Club." Best sandwich I have ever tasted. The avocado was refreshing and perfect, the turkey was scrumptious. I would have gone back for seconds but the portion was huge! Going to a local restaurant and eating an unforgettable meal, makes me want to go there again and again. I even tried to recreate the sandwich at home but couldn't. This meal made my taste buds realize that Smokey Bones made a dish I will never forget!
