my favorite local spot. we love this place, we eat here at least twice a week. its like going to family to have dinner. everything on the menu is great, but my favorite is chicken cutlet alla arugula. i also love the pasta fagioli when i'm sick. seriously, this is such a great place, clean and friendly staff, always a good meal and good friends.

Franklin Square's BEST!. Il Cantone Cafe has been around for a little over four years now and I cant think of another place I enjoy eating at more than here. With genuine Italian music always playing its hard not to lose yourself in one of the many wounderful dishes this place has to offer. My personal favorite has to be the pasta alla vodka. The staff is second to none with the wait staff always being so friendly. When it comes down to it, if your looking for a new restaurant to enjoy with your family or an intimate dinner with that specail someone, Il Cantone Cafe is the place to be.

OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!. Il Cantone is a true hidden gem located on Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square. As a pizzeria and restaurant, the quality and preparation of food is like no other found on Long Island. We eat out quite often and we can honestly say that Il Cantone's dishes are far better than just about any of the expensive (or not-so-expensive) restaurants here on Long Island or Brooklyn or Queens. In addition, the atmosphere is warm and friendly.

Some definite items to try: chicken rolls, rigatoni a la vodka, grandma pizza, shrimp or chicken francese, shrimp oreganata, fresh mozzarella with tomato, basil and roasted red peppers and chicken milanese - just to name a few.

The portions are ample, the prices are right and the food is so delicious that you'll find yourself eating lunch or dinner there and then ordering additional food to take home because the place is just that good!

AMAZING FOOD AND THE SERVICE IS THE BEST IN TOWN. the buffalo rolls Are outta this world!!!!!! best i ever had ...i have one every time i go there and of course i have no complaints about the food or service...because the food always taste good and the servers are always nice and quick.

DELICIOUS FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE. I HAVE HAD AT LEAST 10 MEALS AT IL CANTONE AND EVERYONE IS BETTER THAN THE LAST. FORGET ABOUT THE CUSTMER SERVICE; THE BEST IN TOWN.
