Bollywood Bridal Shower!!!!!!!!. I cannot say enough about this wonderful resturaunt. I hosted my daughters bridal shower there, with a lot of people who had never eaten Indian food before attending. Not only did Arun and Puja make this event the best bridal shower on record (according to everyone who attended) but they sent us home with enough food to feed the poor men who were left out. From the amazing entertainment that was provided, to the amazing food that was prepared with concern and expertise, the music and danicing, choosing this resturaunt to host my daughters bridal shower was the just the best decision I have made all year. The resturaunt itself is clean and decorated in a way that makes no mistake about where you are - you could have stepped off a plane and into a cafe in the Taj Mahal. With so many people coming who were unfamiliar with the food and culture, I wanted the resturaunt itself to set the atmosphere, not just the food - the fact that Arun is an amazing chef who knows just how to please any fussy palate is just a huge bonus to the lovely atmosphere. Everyone ate. Alot. Everyone had so much fun. Everyone left gushing about how awesome it was and how suprisingly wonderful the food was, and how amazing the cook was and how attentive and geniuinely concerned the chef was, and how hard Puja worked to keep up with the endless demands for drinks and coffee. We had a waiter as well, whose name I did not know, but he was polite and attentive as well. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful party. I wish there was a 10 star rating, I would give this lovely place all 10. Thank you, thank you, thank you Puja and Arun, for making my only daughters bridal shower something the entire family will talk about for years to come. Thinking of hosting a Bollywood Bridal Shower? Rangmahal, baby!! :)
This is the best food in Nassau County, Indian or otherwise.
This is truly great food. The variety on the menu allows you to have something different than the typical Indian fare, but if you want somethign typcial, they have the best. I also love the unique appetizers. They always have somethign that I cannot find anywhere else, and it is always great.
Finally, the chef comes to your table to ask how thigns are. And everyone else is just as attentive. Great for going on a date or bringing the family. We like to go there with friends and spend a couple of hours.
Highly recommended!
Best Indian food on Long Island hands down. This is definitely the best Indian food on Long Island without question. The sauces are out of this world and the owners always try to make you feel at home
flavor explosion. The lamb chops were excellent and the mushroom appetizer was out of this world. The waitress recommended a sweet and sour chicken dish that customers love so much they "lick the plate". We thought she was embellishing to sell the dish but as we were sopping up the last bit of sauce, alternating between potato and garlic nan she passed by and smiled. It was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. The name was something like Tiki Chicken and I am going back asap to enjoy it again.
Wow.
We went here for my mother's birthday recently after discovering the reviews for here. Simply fantastic. Our group of 8 ended up sharing everything because it was all so good. Full round of dinner's, desserts and fun.
When the staff learned it was my mother's birthday they did the typical 'Happy Birthday' dessert with candle, but also gave her a pair of earings. Completely impromtu. We did not ask. Very very pleased and would go here again.
worth to be here. This restaurant is excellent. We had a terrific meal there, reasonably priced, and seemed relatively "authentic" despite the fact that I know almost nothing about Indian food. The owner is spectacularly handsome guy, who is a vegeterian, but recommended a couple of meat dishes, and his favorite, (LAMB CHOPS and GRILLED SHRIMP) which was fabulous. I tried CRBCAKE which is excellent apeetiezer in seafoods and worth to pay 12.95$. I really enjoyed it - very pleasant place, very personal.
