Swank and sophisticated Hamptons beach club.. A new culinary kid in the town of Southampton has staked its claim: It’s the Day & Night Restaurant Beach Club, and it’s good. Run by twin brothers Derek and Daniel Koch--who found raging success with their New York City hot spot, Merkato 55--Day & Night is part restaurant, part bar and part bed-strewn and cabana-filled beach club, perfect for a daytime romp or an evening cocktail. When hunger strikes, try the risotto appetizer (touched with the requisite truffle oil) or dig into something more substantial like steak and potatoes or a crabmeat and avocado salad. Rosé champagne flows as freely as the nearby Atlantic Ocean, especially during the wild weekend brunch. Go, wear your bikini and be merry--it won’t be hard.
