After having a brand new bathroom constructed, at 10 oclock on a Friday night, we had a massive flood in that new bathroom. Called the number for roto- rooter and got probably the best customer service I can recall. Unable to send a plumber out that night, there was a plumber at my door at 7:45 the next morning. Rich was wonderful, very thorough and kept me appraised of everything he was doing. Of course it was a complicated problem, but Rich definitely thought outside the box to fix the problem. Unfortunately that same night, the same thing happened again, and on Sunday morning Kenny came to help. Again- I cant say enough about the service and his expertise. THANK YOU for making a horrible situation bearable. I would recommend these people to anyone!

We had a leak, needed a plumber, called Roto Rooter in Farmingdale long island and Josh (#348) came over quickly! He was able to find the problem and came back the next day to fix it! Josh was patient and kind to my three young children and took all safety precautions. He cleaned up the mess once finished. Hopefully we don't need a plumber very often but if we do we will call for Josh again!!

Excellent work done by Bill # 1556 on June 6, 2012. The shower/bathtub diverter stopped working, allowing water to gush from the tub-spout when the shower was on. The screw that secures the diverter handle was stripped and that made the job more difficult. Bill competently and quickly was able to remove the handle and rebuild the shower diverter. I'm very satisfied with the overall quality of work, price, and technician's expertise. I'll use Roto-Rooter again as my plumber on Long Island.

I was a bit apprehensive to have roto-rooter plumbers come over and do the work, but after exhausting all of my other options and over priced plumber in Long Island, Nassau County, I decided to call roto-rooter, after all it didn't hurt to get an estimate. The roto-rooter staff exceeded my expectations. The dispatcher called me in the morning and tried to get a professional plumber to my place at a decent time (by 9:30am - awesome). The licensed plumber who came over from the Farmingdale, N.Y. office in Long Island, introduced himself "Luis" - tech #51. Luis was up front about the cost and explained everything to me up front. Luis quickly and accurately isolated the problem area (old/rusted pipe). He did a thorough inspection to ensure there were no other problem areas with the pipes. He gave me a decent quote (less than other quotes received by other licensed plumbers in Long Island). Luis understood that I had a tight budget. He provided the best long term solution for my problems. He spared no expense when it came to the quality of work. He spent time (over 5 1/2 hours) to ensure the work was done properly. He tried to find the best solution in order to avoid ripping all of my walls (with my permission, he had to make a small hole to resolve the issue). He triple checked his work and made sure he left without any leaks with the pipes. He thoroughly cleaned any debris, offered a non-intrusive product to protect the pipes (no pressure, my choice), and explained that ALL work is GUARANTEED for 1 YEAR -- any issues he (Luis) will come and fix it for FREE. Luis did an excellent job and exceeded my expectations. If I, or any of my friends ever encounter any plumbing issues, I will definitely tell them to call roto-rooter and ask for Luis. I am sure all the other roto-rooter employees do just as good of a job, but with my experience with Luis, I am sold and will be a life long customer. I cannot speak for anyone else, but the only advice I can give (based on my experience) is to call for yourself and have a roto-rooter technician come over and provide you with an estimate. I am GLAD I did!!!

Roto-Rooter Plumbers. I had my elderly father's kitchen sink and upstairs shower repaired a couple of days ago and I had the best experience. The plumber, Sherwin, Tech #59 from the Farmingdale, N.Y location was so thorough, pleasant, kind to my father and provided superior service.

He explained all that needed to be done in such a way that made me feel comfortable in getting the work done that same night. He made some great suggestions and gave sage advice. The senior discount was a nice bonus too.

The kitchen faucet from Delta that he provided is gorgeous, the shower is divine and I am a very happy woman right now.

Sherwin was awesome and I would definitely have him service my father's home anytime. Thank you, Sherwin and Roto-Rooter!

Great service and friendly staff. From the first phone call to Roto-Rooter to the thank you at the end of service everyone was wonderful. My hot water tank quit and dumped water all over my downstairs. So I called the plumbing service that helped me in the past. With-in one hour of the first call, Tim the plumber was at my house and 5 hours of work, he had taken out my old tank,got me a new one and I was good to go. This company is the best on Long Island. Thanks a million!

Satisfied Customer. Late Saturday night I heard our sump pump going on and off. Know that the only time it has ever came on was during extremely heavy rain, and since we haven't had rain in weeks, we knew there was a big problem. We waited till the morning and called Roto-rooter. They came quickly and found the problem, a clogged pipe in the waste line. We were so happy and satisfied with the work and professionalism of William, the roto-rooter man. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter!

Roto-Rooter Plumber. We had a leaking kitchen sink. Hank from Roto-Rooter replaced all the necessary parts, was very nice and professional. Gave us tips about plumbing explained every step as he worked. Could not ask for better service.
