Once great, now pretty good.
These guys used to constantly change their 70 or so taps and once had a great mix of beers. It seems these days the beer selection rarely changes and the majority of beers are of the lighter pilsner and lager variety with maybe a token Stout or two like Guinness and / or Murphy's and maybe if you are lucky, one porter.
The food is ok for a pub. Certainly not bad, but not great and I don't think the menu has changed at all in 15 years. The newer Farmingdale location has added a few dishes. People seem to love the wings here...

good 10cents wing, insanely slow service.
We went on a wednesday night for 10 cents wings and waited an 1 hour for a plate of 40 wings, on top of that we were unable to be seated because the table wait was 2 hours long so we ate at the bar. We added more food to our order and had to wait another hour for it. Half of my party ended up leaving because they did not want to wait anymore. The bartender was good was they seemed understaffed for a crowded wed. night. I don't recommend going there unless you don't mind waiting about an hour to get your food.
