My beautiful wedding dress!!!. I got married in October 2011 to the man of my dreams, and I got to wear the dress of my dreams! Admittedly, that sounds cheesy, but it's true! I went to Iman's after a not so hot experience at Kleinfeld's (they seriously made me cry), because Iman's is small, and I had heard good things about her selection. I also went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. They were nice there, but they didn't hold a candle to Iman Bridal. Anyway, from the first moment I tried on my dress (and I probably tried on every dress in the store) I knew it was THE ONE!!! Iman knew too, and told me so! I was so happy!!! Each time I went to try it on (for the tailoring) I felt like the only customer in the world. My dress came out PERFECT and I couldn't be happier!!! I would recommend Iman Bridal to anyone getting married on or near to Long Island.

Best Bridal Store. Iman Bridal Couture is out of this world. Iman herself welcomes you from the second you walk into the store till the day you pick up your dress. The amount of detail and attention i received is one of a kind. All the employees are so attentive and professional. I only wish i had done everything through Iman and know for future things i will. I recommend her to every bride out there, bridesmaid, mother of bride, flower girl- you name it! She would not allow any customer to leave her store without being 100% satisfied regardless if you purchased everything from her or not. Thank you for making my day perfect!

Perfect Store, Gowns and Employees. I got married eight months and my fiance is a resident in the Glen Cove Hospital. He passed by Iman Bridal everyday on his way to work and even commented on the beautiful dresses that they always had in the windows and told me go there. I avoided going there at first because of some negative remarks about her. So I did my shopping between Wedding Salon, Bridal Reflections, Priscilla and others. I decided to give it a try and go to Iman's to please my fiance. Let me tell you something, the ambiance of the store was beautiful with all the thank you cards on the wall and the books of thank you cards spoke for themselves, thats when I felt at ease. The service was beyond good especially my sales person Ali, with her smile and patience. After staying in the store for three and a half hours (where other stores didnt even give me an hour), she didnt lose her cool, then I met Iman because I couldnt find what I wanted. She started giving me advice and was talking to me with her beautiful sense of humor and with other people walking in for alterations and picking up their gowns, they didnt leave without thanking her and hugging her for all her great work. After being confused and going back a couple of times I ended up getting my wedding gown, my bridesmaids, my mother and my future mother in law’s dresses there. Everything was perfect from the dresses to the perfect alterations that were done. What made it beautiful was Iman was so caring that she gave me her cell phone number just in case of an emergency on my wedding day (what owner would do that???). She is one of kind person that will help you select your wedding gown with ease. Her advice is valuable because she was in the business for twenty-six years and owns her store for eleven years. She was always in the store no matter what, from when I purchased, to every fitting, to every questions that I had (she says and lives by her philosophy of be there for your client: from her website). In the end, I didnt just leave with a beautiful experience (..and gorgeous dress designed by Iman!), but I left with a friend. The only downfall is that I will not be able to experience it again. I would like to advise everyone to be careful of what you read. Please go and find out on your own what Iman Bridal is all about. Don’t be fooled by the negative.

Fantastic Dresses, Excellent Service. I recently purchased 2 dresses from Iman for my sons weddings. Iman and her staff were so patient with me as I had to try on every dress in her shop before I found the right one! Not only did I find one perfect dress, I found two. Iman can handle everything from taking in a seam to a complete overhaul of a dress. I would recommend her shop highly for any mother of the bride or groom.

I had the worst experience at Iman Bridal Couture. I am not someone who likes to write on these blogs, but I was astonished at the positive feedback that Iman's Bridal Couture received. Thinking about the experience I had there makes me want to cry. Siince I am not a very public person, I am going to keep my story to myself; however, Iman will treat you like a princess until she gets your money. Then she will lie and stab you in the back. I am sorry that I am not willing to go into details but it was too much of a painful experience to relive.

Excellent -Profssional service-Gorgeous gowns. Lke most women I worried about finding a gown that would look beautiful even though I have those parts of the body that are less then perfect. I came prepared with all kinds of ideas after searching countless birdal magazines of what gown what make me look like those birdes in all the magazines (gulp, I hoped). I tried on "my vision",( UH OH,) then Iman said "here this will be perfect for you". She saw my face, (I looked at her as if she were showing me the bride of Frankenstiens' dress) Iman said "don't worry, we'll change the color for your wedding, just put it on". I did.

I could have cried from relief. The dress made me look 10 pounds thinner. It was everything I could have wanted in a dress and more then I could have imagined. Iman's eye for a woman's body is her gift. Along, with an eye for detail and personal sense of responsibility and pride in her work, I'man's Bridal is the only place I would suggest a bride or any one come for a gown. She will figure it out, no matter what. My aunt was with me the day Iman showed me my gown. We both knew that the bridal angels had led us to this incredible woman. A shop in 2009 whose customer service is based on integrity, pride in doing excellent work and a love for what she does. Thank you, t hank you, thanks you Iman!

Absolutely Awful. I cannot believe the positive reviews this place has received after my horrific experience there.

I went to pick up a few bridesmaid dresses. Iman was helping another bridal party, so I patiently waited until she was finished. They left about 10 minutes later. When I told Iman I was here to pick up the dresses she told me that the girl who gets the dresses was not there and I was going to have to wait 15 to 30 minutes!

As Iman was doing nothing and just sitting behind her desk, I asked if she could get the dresses for me because I had 2 people waiting in the car. Her reply: "That's not my job." I was pretty stunned. Then I asked if she was the owner and she said that she hires her employees so she can point at them and tell them what to do! At some point my 2 friends came in to see what was taking me so long. We all tried to politely convince her to get the dresses. After being told that she hoped we didn't raise our children the way we were raised she called down an employee that was helping another party and made her get my dresses. I do hope that that girl realizes she does not have to work for such a tyrant.

There was another employee who stood next to Iman and also did nothing to help our situation. I will be sure that no one I know goes to Iman. What a horror show!

The icing on the cake, the dresses were gigantic on everyone. Another bridesmaid called to complain and Iman told her that these dresses were known to run very large. I know they order them larger than your size so you can get it fitted perfectly, but I can't understand why she didn't take this into account when ordering them.

Lifesaver!. No one can imagine how I've made it through this nightmare!

I went to Bridal Couture for my wedding gown. After leaving a deposit of 60% of the total cost of my gown (including potential alterations) and my mom's and maid's gowns I called to find out when I should schedule my first fitting to find out that they were CLOSED!

I lost my mind...My girlfriend told me to just move on and find a new gown. My wedding was is in 3 months!

After crying my eyes out I wanted to go to sleep and my fiancee always leaves News 12 Long Island on before bed to watch the weather. God must have known what to do because while he was in the shower I saw a story about two brides in my same position. Their angel...Iman saved the day. I figured, why not? Give it a try!

I called to schedule an appointment with her and made one for later that week. I googled "Iman Bridal Couture" and saw lots of reviews, both good and bad. I wanted my dress and figured I wouldn't lose anything by meeting with her to see if she could help me like she helped the others.

She didn't only help me, she saved the day! She took care of everything! She contacted the 3 different manufacturers for my gown, my mom's and bridesmaids! She offered her services for alterations! She totally got everything back in check so that I could focus on the big picture -- my wedding!

God bless Iman and her staff. They are a godsend! If you don't go there then you'll never know what you're missing! Trust me...She's helping 52 other brides in my same position! I only wish that I went to her from the get-go!

Never judge a book by its cover (with all those negative reviews)! You might miss a great story!

Outstanding selection. I can't describe how grateful and appreciative we are to Iman. i've tried many stores before reaching this gem.

she has an excellent selection, and service. Iman customized my wedding gown exactly how I described to her. she is an amazing designer with a great staff to compliment her talents. I highly recommend everyone to her shop. the shop design is an romantic & elangant decor. simply lovely..... I was extremely please with my gown and the service.
