The one time i go there i get a great haircut and great customer service but the owner "chris" himself, is a rude, and mean person. How i saw him treat his staff like they were morons made me disgusted, i hope these girls find better places to work because with his manners he should go out of business ASAP!

thier all gone. Christina left razing hair and is now at the cutting club in blue point! You can find her there Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. the number to the cutting club is 363-9101. i will never go to razing hair again now that all the great stylists are gone.

Razing Hair- Still the only salon for me. Christopher has been my hairdresser for longer than either of us would like to admit. He was recommended to me in the late 80's before he had his own place. Chris went out of his way to design Razing Hair as a different type of salon. The staff were pleasant and friendly and the atmosphere was calm, and relaxing. I never experienced a problem with anyone although over the years I know that others (including people I recommended) had. I found it interesting that after almost eleven years several of the girls decided to leave en masse and venture out on their own. While I understand that the beauty business can be tough, this seemed like quite the mutiny. Dog eat dog- learn all you can and then go out on your own... After the obvious initial upset, Razing Hair bounced back, better than ever. The stylists who stayed have grown in their confidence of their abilities and the new additions are a good fit. Don't rely on positive or negative reviews- make an appointment and be your own judge...

Friendly salon, great hair cut and color!. I recently had my hair cut and colored at Razing Hair and am really happy. I don't really care if the stylists left, the salon seems well staffed with professional people. Lauren did my hair and I will definitely be going to her from now on. The staff seemed happy, the salon is beautiful, I felt really comfortable and pampered. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Job. I use to have my hair done by Francine and now I go to Doreen her sister. I guess talent does run in the family! Fantastic job Doreen! The astmosphere at Razing Hair is warm, friendly and inviting I wouln't even consider another salon.

RAZING HAIR - THE BEST BEAUTY SALON ON LONG ISLAND. I've been going to Chris for a very long time. Even before Razing Hair. He is a class act. Along with his current staff, he is very professional, an expert colorist and cuts my hair to perfection. I wouldn't go to anyone else. He teaches his hairdressers and has had a very successful business because of his talent and professionalism. The new receptionist there is fantastic. I've heard the "old receptionist - the not so nice one" that he got rid of is at the new Studio 600. His staff, Jessica, Christina, Doreen, Susan, Lisa, Franny, etc. are friendly, accommodating and very professional. I have a wedding party booked for hair and makeup. Whether it be Christina, Jessica, Chris, I will continue to go to Razing Hair because I know I will continue to get the best color and haircut on the Island, along with the professional, friendly services.

Better than before!!!!. I was so upset to hear that my girl left Razing Hair that I almost didn't keep my appointment. But due to a hair emergency I needed to get in immediately and to my surprise it was better than my past visits. I walked in to smiles that continued throughout the whole process. It was espescially great to see that the old receptionist (who, let's just be nice and say, was less than pleasant) was gone and the girl at the front desk was so helpful even though the phones were ringing off the hook. I will definitely stick with Doreen and will be returning to Razing Hair.

what a geat pedicure. This was one of the most amazing relaxing experiances of my life! Franny the pedicurist gave me the greatist pedicures i have ever had. The room was private so i didn't have anyone staring at me while i dosed off. she gave me a fifteen minute reflexology massage at the end that was out of this world. After it was all done she did a wonderful brow wax and it didn't even hurt, she had such a gentle touch. I'll never go back to one of those asian salons a gain. Franny is my lady!

Awsome salon and stylist!. Wow Christina gave me the best cut ever, she was so creative and easy to talk to. I love my natrual looking highlights, i've never had a colorist use three colors before. I'm getting so many compliments on my new do. Great staff very accomidating, I did not feel uncomfortable at all being there, Christina and her assistant were so nice. One of the most beautiful salons I have ever been to and very clean!
