Dance Connection is a Superb Studio!. Dance Connection is such a great dance studio for kids and adults. Their staff is always very friendly (they greet you with a smile as soon as you walk in the door) and are very informative answering any questions they have. From personal experience, I know that the school's philosophy in dance training is right on. They are dedicated to building dancer's with strong underlying technique, to prevent them from suffering injury later (which can happen from poor dance instruction). I strongly urge you to give Dance Connection a try - I am positive you won't be disappointed!
Great School. What a great dance school! Teachers and staff are so friendly and they answer any and all questions. The studio is a clean, family friendly environment. Dancers work hard and it shows in their annual recital. Dance Connection's recital is more like a Broadway show than a dance recital! Teachers have a great deal of knowledge that they pass along to their students. Many times I see dancers just hanging out in the lobby and they are happy to be there. That says a lot about a school- if the students want to stay there, it must be an enjoyable experience. If you are looking for a dance school to take your child to, don't hesitate to check out Dance Connection. As soon as you enter their lobby, you just know that this is a school where the staff care about the kids and give them a great dance education. Not to mention the kids love to be there. Just go and look around- you will see what I mean!
Excellent. This school is fantastic. There is a family environment and all dancers are treated equally. All dancers are pushed to expand their dance vocabulary all while training the correct way to avoid injury. Artistry, technique and fun are emphasized. Try this school. You will NOT be disappointed.
more than 2 thumbs down.
this was a very elementary dance school in which the teachers have no good outside experience because they go through a "teacher training program". the director brainwashes all the "dancers" (if you can call the students that) by bringing them to horrible, unknown of, brand new dance competitions. therefore they win almost everything and they think they are amazing but in reality, they are not. also many normal dance moves are considered tricks and any sort of toe work, at all, will "hurt your feet". newsflash, 8 year old dancers can do toe stands, toe ups, whatever you want to call it and their feet are perfectly ok! and lastly they have specific levels and you are to learn basic dance moves only at a certain level..11 year olds are only learning how to do double turns, if that.
i would just say yes, to learn basic moves you can go here, but once you start to out grow it, or if you are a serious dancer, LEAVE!!!!
