local intellectual's dive bar. The Country Corner is not the place to impress a first date, unless the object of your affection is finnishing up a PHD. The bar/ restaraunt is known for the traditional Armenian menu and the filthy bathrooms. The crowd tends to consist of Stony Brook graduate students and it is not uncommon to be dragged into a debate over the finer points of land development or political campaign financing.
