Don't believe these postings as I think the were put up by The Place employees. The company is taking people's orders and charging in full for the furniture up front. Then they do not deliver or answer phone calls. They have been given an F rating by Better Business Bureau. Their web site is down and they are having a "consolidation" sale at their retail store. Look elsewhere on the web for some real horror stories. I was lucky. After my 4-6 week delivery turned into 4 months with no delivery due to "delays by the manufacturer," my credit card refunded the amount and I bought the same furniture elsewhere for less money and had delivery in 3 weeks.

Received the sofas today. They look like old leather, which the pictures did not show on the net. Perfect! One is in a 160 German farmhouse and the other is going in a reproduction wooden barn loft.

I have received the Turtle Bay dining chairs yesterday, I was surprised to receive them within a week, thank you, they look great in my breakfast nook, and special thanks to Emilios who took the time to answer my questions. thanks again.

DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. The Better Business Bureau reports that they have had 133 complaints in the last 3 years (when I looked last week, they were rated "F" although they now seem to have been reset to a "No Rating"). They gave us a fake waybill number and several false emails and I still have not received the shipment they promised (and I ordered the product over 1 year ago). And as one reviewer said below, most of these reviews look fake.

I've never submitted a review before, but this is the worst and most dishonest company that I've ever purchased from.

This place ripped me off, all these positive comments are fake. I ordered an item 5 months ago and never received it and can't reach anyone let alone get my money back. Scam artists, Jules, Maria, Martin the whole Regueiro family are thieves. Karma is a bitch!
