best sushi in the area. Nagashima is far better then other sushi places in the area, unless i'm really lazy and want delivery this is always my first choice!

AMAZING FOOODD!!!!. since i was eight years old my parents had taken me to this phenomenal restaurant. Every time i go i order as much sushi as i can eat. I never even have to order because the sushi chef makoto is so friendly and kind to our family. he is so professional and the presentation is amazing. i have never seen food so colorfully decorated and fresh and delicious at the same time. Every time i go there i am blown away by makoto's specials that he surprises us with. (wow even thinking about it now makes me hungry and want to go there.) Presentation , to me is very inportant to me when i eat food. And when i eat at nagashima all the food is so well made that it looks so precious that i eating it would be a waste.All the waiters and waitresses are so kind and i can tel that they enjoy serving us even when they simle at us. I sugguest that you get the moths special. Some are, the flying dragon. if you like eel then you will be blown away by the one foot length juicy eel.( i cannot believe its so fresh!) Now, to desserts woah, theres so many delicious delectable deserts to choose from. From fried brownies, to super fresh and sweet assorted fruits. I sugguest sitting at the sushi bar and taking some time to introduce yourself to makoto the sushi chef. He will always remember you and will maybe throw in a little special.

So, if your looking for some diffrent delicious omakase sushi and japanese food. Go to nagashima!!!!!!!! =]

NOT Fresh Sushi, don't waste your money here!. I gave this place a try but wish I hadn't. My husband ordered the lunch special which came with a spicy tuna roll and cold noodle salad which was ok. I ordered the 10 pc sushi special for 20.95 and requested the sushi be super fresh (every sushi place should be super fresh). What A DISAPPOINTMENT! I am a seasoned sushi eater and I could tell from sight that more than half my sushi was not fresh! the salmon and white fish was torn and very soft, fresh sushi is always firm and not falling apart. They did not even offer a complimentry fruit at the end of the meal which is usually common at most sushi places.

Do not try them! Absolutely terrible!

And I feel quesy right now as I am writing this review.
