New owner. I am the new owner of Elegant Hair Salon , the prior salon was called Images which sadly had some bad experiences. After reading the prior reviews I want to reassure all new clients because our existing clients already know that we are a professional and friendly salon. Shameful. I felt abused by the people at this salon. They mocked me, used vulgar language, and behaved like freaks.

My haircut was uneven, and the stylist smelled like vodka.

Very telling.... It's quite a coincidence that the single scathing review was entered on the same day that this dump was featured on an episode of "Tabatha's Salon Takeover." I see a nice clean white brightly colored future for this salon...in the form of a "Retail Space for Lease" sign.

Scary "Images" Hair Salon. Finding extra time traveling thru Oyster Bay area, thought I would try and find a hair salon for a quick refresher blunt cut instead of waiting until I got back to the city (NYC). I saw IMAGES sign and thought I would try my luck. When I had to wade thru the cigarette butts scattered outside the salon door, that should have been my first sign to get right back in my car and go find a coffee place for an hour. Clearly, this outdoor ashtray was made by someone from the salon as they were all the same brand cigarette. When I walked in the door, instead of being greeted, I was met with stares (glares) of many of the staff members, most who were lounging around in their client chairs or the little waiting area. It seemed no one wanted to "pick up" a fast cut. It took me well over 5 minutes to ferret out the Appointment person (no one seemed to know who was in charge). But this gave me time to take a quick look around at the messy salon & decide that if the attitude & cleanliness of this salon was anything like the haircut I would receive, I would fare better elsewhere, so that is exactly where I went. Elsewhere. I never got the cut so cannot give a review on that, but can say that it was a typical strip mall venue with strip mall appointments. Recommendation: Keep driving and find another cleaner and friendlier place.
