Good sushi, obnoxious service. Food is good but not worthy of the wait. Getting noticed let alone seated is a big problem. Dinging is is very cramped
Simply the best. There's a reason people wait so patiently to get in to Kotobuki. Simpy put, you will not find a better Japanese restaurant on Long Island. Even if sushi is not your thing, there are plenty of hot dishes that will surprise and delight you. Everything is always fresh and delicious, the chirashi by far the best I've ever tasted. Sadly they do not take reservations, but I have never had a wait beyond 30 minutes and it is always worth it.
Nice restaurant. Just not for me..
Restaurant is nice and clean, but the food is not Japanese at all. Food tasted more like Korean food to me. Food is not bad, just not Japanese.
But the place seemed to be popular. Not good for dates since it's in a shopping center. I think it'd be good place to go out with friends.
Where can I find real Japanese food in the area??
