nasty owners. so sorry i went to this place.service was ok,but the owner and his wife have an attitude.I couidnt believe the way they treated the waitress.they yelled at her in front of customers over something that to me,sounded ridculous.Im surprised she didnt walk out.Food was ok,but was totally turned off by the atmophere

The best spanakopita on Long Island!.
I am shocked to see the other reviews.. I tell everyone I know to go to this restaurant! I consider myself to be a spinach pie (spanakopita) connoisseur, and I have tried it at every Greek restaurant and diner on Long Island, and this place makes it the best. It isn't greasy at all.. just flaky and delicious. There isn't too much cheese in it (which I prefer).. just the right amount. It just isn't as heavy as the others I have tried. Plus the portion is huge (they give 2 triangles with the appetizer portion and the dinner portion-- enough to share or take home).
I also recently tried the falafel which was baked and not fried... different than any other I have tried. I like the way they make it because it does not taste greasy and is more dietetic. Even the roasted potatoes you get on the side of the entrees are superb. My mom and I order fish sometimes, and they make it any way we like. Very accomodating.
The owner and staff are extremely friendly and attentive. And I like the cozyness of the restaurant. I really can't say enough good things about this place. My favourite Greek restaurant on Long Island.

Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced. The service was awful, but it was the treatment I got at the end that is the reason I will never go back. It started off when my table ordered two drinks and only got one and when we corrected the waitress were told that we were wrong, that we only ordered one. Then they forgot the marinara sauce with the chicken finger appetizer that we ordered and when it was finally brought to us it was cold. They forgot the two pieces of pita bread that came with our order and after 10 minutes of waiting for them, I finally stood up to get the waitresses attention and reminder her. She agreed that she forgot and got me my order, but in the mean time, the owner's wife yelled at me that I should sit down, that I was confusing things by standing near the food counter. I told her she was being rude to speak to me that way, but sat down and continued my meal. When leaving, the owner came up to me, started wagging his finger in my face and "yelled" at me (loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear) that I disrespected him and his wife and that I was no longer welcome in his restaurant. Trust me, I wasn't planning on going back after that treatment and you shouldn't either!
