Best Indian place in LI, go by Zagats. This is rated as the best in LI, go by Zaggats.

Cheap yet by far the best. It's across the street from Rangmahal, which somehow received 59 reviews, and dosa 2 (the owners put in their own reviews)

This place is always packed to the brim and Rangmahal is always dead.

Cheap eats - dosas. Great dosas without the heavy prices. No frills with great food. Service is excellent. Its where the locals go. Its my favorite dosa place. Better than most Curry Hill (Manhattan) dosa houses.

A Gem. Great dosas at fantastic prices. I wish I lived closer to the restaurant so I could go at least once a week. Some of the dishes are quite spicy, so one should be careful. It's all vegetarian and authentic south Indian. The service is also very attentive.
