Tickets aren't cheap at this country house-turned-music venue and bar, but the atmosphere is priceless. Though walls have been knocked down to turn the first floor of this old house into a performance space, it's still an intimate venue. Christmas lights illuminate the bar, and, unless the act warrants a dance floor, the mismatched tables are set close to the stage. Performers run the gamut from folk singers to world music ensembles to reggae artists and more. And though the live music is a year-round draw, come summertime, hordes of young sharehouse residents come in droves to binge drink and mingle in the outside space and back bar area--a rowdy, meet-market scene packed with sun-kissed prepsters ordering shots of Jack in bulk.
