A private family getaway in The Hamptons.. The Scene
This place proves that it is still possible to find tranquility in The Hamptons. Located further east (towards Montauk) than the areas filled with madding summertime crowds, this full-scale resort has its own private section of beach. It is ideal for families.

The Details
The property isn't brand new, but the owners make the best of simple decor. The feeling of space and sunlight are maximized with white or light furniture, pretty floral bedspreads and ceiling fans. Each condo is equipped with a kitchenette, eating nook, cable TV and sitting area. Separate rooms enable families to reside together and have privacy at the same time. A paved pathway through a meadow leads to the on-site tennis court, which is next to a light-flooded indoor atrium containing a lap pool. There is even a rock-heated sauna. Nearby are golf courses, charter fishing and water sports aplenty. Prices vary greatly according to season.
