Great food, very generous portions. Consistently great food. The portions are large, and many meals are served family style. Reservations are a must. Beautiful view. I cant say enough good things about Harvest!

Amazing!. I love this place! This is my favorite restaurant in eastern Long Island. My husband and I shared the mussels and the whole red snapper cooked with some nice sweet and sour type sauce and served with julienne vegetables - both are divine! The fish was cut up right at our table. And yes, they are gigantic/sharing portions, but we came hungry and didn't take home any leftovers. The atmosphere is fantastic and we arrived in time to watch the sunset as we waited for an outside table even though we originally made reservations for inside (they do not take reservations for outside - it's first come first served - worth it if you ask me). I have been here before and have not had bad service, but this time our server was not good; she was disinterested and lacked personality. My husband and I have both worked in the service industry so we do expect more than someone just taking our order and putting the food on the table. The so-so service on this visit is the only reason I didn't give five stars.

Gigantic portions. This is a great place for groups of 4 or more but not so great for a couple. The portions are out of whack.

Great Sunsets at Harvest. We arrived at 7:30 PM and were seated promptly. Try to sit by the windfow overlooking the pond for the magnificent sunset. The goat cheese salad with portabello mushrooms and raspberry vinagrette delicious. Second appetizer seared tuna with mixed tomato and onion salad with roasted corn tapas delicious. Mains garlic shrimp with spaghetti a must. Grilled salmon with side of cucumber salad good but the salmon a bit overcooked. Grilled chicken with garlic roasted mashed potatoes good. You have to order shared dishes. You cannot order appetizers first. They make you place your entire order at one time. We skipped dessert because we were too full. For five people two appetizers and three entrees was more than enough. Do not miss the sunset.

A sprawling Montauk classic with hearty portions and a wide following.. The Scene
Montauk is blessed with water--not only the Atlantic, but also bays, ponds, streams and their awe-inspiring vistas. A wall of windows and an outdoor patio overlook just such a vantage point, keeping the friendly, nurturing staff in uncommonly good spirits. The stadium-sized, vaulted indoor space matches the restaurant's great big approach to food.

The Food
It's a great place for groups, big and little, since everything is plentiful enough for sharing. True to its setting, seafood is best here, from the delicate, garlicky mussels to the tender, nicely seasoned swordfish medallions. Pasta isn't as good an option, as it arrives on roomy platters drowned in sauce. In season, the parma prosciutto with ripe, pink figs is worth trying. At the end of the meal, try their version of the ice cream sandwich, a fat vanilla scoop between crisp, sugary layers of phyllo-like pastry.

This place is outstanding!. I love this place...I have been going here for years and can never get sick of this place. It gets booked up fast so be sure to have reservations! You will always have leftovers at this place and the service is always great. If you are in the area you must eat here!

Worthy of a special occation. This by far the best retaurant in Montauk. I eat there at least twice while in Montauk. The value for your money is also unbelievable (so many restaurants on the East end are pricy and not worth the price)! Make reservations early or you'll wait a long time.
