Awesome Spot In Montauk. We stayed at the Montauk Manor for two weeks. It was fabulous. Our room was clean, beautifully furnished and had a gorgeous water view. The lobby is amazing...two huge fireplaces, plush seating, plants. etc. The place has a lot of outdoor space to enjoy with stunning sunset views of the water and the surrounding area. I would recommend this place for a great summer getaway.

Excellent hotel. The hotel looks like a castle and sits on top of a mountain. The lobby is beautiful. The rooms are very nice. The property is very large, and has many amenities and beautiful views. The prices are better than most good hotels in the area because the hotel is not on the beach. However, the beach is quickly accessibly by car. The hotel has a free shuttle that takes guests anywhere they want to go. You can probably use it ten times a day if you like and travel all around Montauk. The restaurant is very good. Overall, this is an excellent hotel.

He purchased 10,000 acres at the tip of Long Island and committed himself to building "the most fabulous summer resort ever imagined." Thus was born this grand destination that has seen even grander days.

The Details
This property centers on a 200-room English Tudor hotel. Accommodations range from studios to three-bedroom apartments. While they are pleasant enough, the attraction of this place is its on-premises activities. Although it has been reduced to 12 acres over the decades, it offers a wide range of recreation. The outdoor pool is enormous; the indoor one is smaller, but still pretty, surrounded by white tile. As well, there are tennis courts, squash courts and even a driving range.
