If you do not care about your pet then this is the place to go! Dr.Etzel has no business being in this field. My 2 year old yorkie was givin its shots and in a few hours I was at the emergency room and the dog was on life support! Dog eventually passed.Kids are devastated. Imagine your pet is fine one minute and then gone in a few hours !! Terrible. I will be contacting the state administration board about this. I just seen aa few posts on this vet and I agree Do not go here.

I see all the good posts and It leads me to believe that they are made up. Bad posts are always the truth.

I have never been to a better run facility. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I always feel Doctor Etzel gives me every possible option of treatment and I have always felt that I am getting the best care possible. I will continue to bring my pets to the Floyd Harbor Animal Hospital and deeply appreciate the compassion and skill that is on display every time I go there.

Just seen Dr. Etzel after adopting my new baby Zeus. Very happy, the staff is still the same and still great.

I am at the point where we are going to have to make a life decision for my 13 year old boy. Dr. Etzel has kept him going with liver disease for more then 2 years, now he is senile and his hind end is giving out. Wouldn't trust his life with anyone else. Who ever is writing those terrible reviews absolutely does not use Dr. Etzel. After over 20 years I can say she is THE BEST!

WARNING! I strongly feel that This practice needs to be closed down! They killed my dog due to ignoring his immediate allergic reaction to a vaccine! he was healthy andonly 3 years old when i brought him in and tragically he never made it home. they also misdiagnosed my cat with just hair balls when in fact she had IBD which has now caused her to have GI lymphoma, if diagnosed properly early enough she would not have cancer today, she s only 7. My family has been broken due to lack of knowledge and concern. Do not take your animals here.

Dr. Death ! stay away I If you have unconditional love for your pet do not at all go here to this Animal killer.Caused my pet more harm and died!!

I am so busy with life I rarely take time to write a review, but today I just had to take the time. I brought my dog in tonight as a first time client and was very impressed by Dr. Etzel and her staff. Even though she was very busy, when she came into the exam room she took the time to introduce herself to my dog. I have to say it was the first time Jack took to any Vet. Her staff was so friendly and helpful. I left with full confidence that Jack was going to be ok and a smile on my face because I found a GREAT DOCTOR! I would recommend this practice to my friends and family.

My dog was being treated by a previous vet. heard that this doctor was good. This doctor gave my dog a shot by the time i got home my dog was unresponsive and not able to get up. was layed out on the floor for 2 days. Brought back to vet due to weekend(closed) dog was deteriorating. Blood work before the shot was fine. right after the shot all counts tripled. dog was dying. Had to bring to an emergency service, He is now dying. Doctor had overdosed him with the shot but is covering her tracks. Took the life of my dog and mine..

Caring Veterinarian. I have been very pleased with the level of care by Dr. Etzel and her staff at Floyd Harbor Animal Hospital. We like how they explain everything to us before it is done and give good reason to support their recommendations. They tell both sides of an outcome before a treatment is given so we know what needs to be done and why. Our dog is always welcomed with friendly care. She is happy each time we bring her to the vet. Everyone treats her like she is their pet.
