What People Are Saying About Hampton Veterinary Hospital

I just moved into the area, so I needed a new vet. I had driven by their place I so used them when my cat did not seem right after eating. Dr Gucciardo examined her and said she had a urinary infection, so he put my cat on some meds. The following week I went back since the problem seemed worse, this time my cat was examined by Dr Wen, he told me to continue giving my cat the same antibiotics and added in some herbal capsules. I did what he said and in a few days my cat was no longer eating and did not even want to get up! I called them on the phone and was told the doctor was too busy and if I wanted help I would have to go in for another exam. I did not like this, so I asked my neighbor where they brought their dog and I went there. The doctor did an ultrasound and says my cat had gallbladder stones, not a kidney infection! She precribed some medication and told me to make changes in her diet. I has been almost 3 weeks since this, my cat is much better now, hopefully she will continue to improve. The Hamptons vets were awlful!!!

I brought in my German Shepard who was limping. The doctor, an oriental man, examined her and told me she had bone cancer and needed to be on a great many herbal capsules each day to fight off the cancer. It cost me almost $500 but I took them and started giving it to her. All that medication got her sick so I brought her to another local vet, because they were closed at that time. They checked her out thoroughly, including a cat scan. She did not have cancer at all, just arthritis! They gave me some pills and she has been much improved ever since. I called the old vet up to tell them what had happened and Dr. Wen, the oriental doctor, became very irrate with me and said not to bring my dog back and hung up. Very rude. Even his staff told me the same thing about him, no one likes him. BTW... the other vet I went to was at Bid-a-Wee, they are really good.

DR Wen is awesome, he saved us thousands of dollars in vet bills. We took our puppy rotti to a different vet for "dry skin" and they wanted to take him in for all kinds of testing. WE took him to DR Wen and he simply provided medicated shampoo, and antibiotic. The dry skin cleared up in less than two weeks and he now has a shinny beautiful coat
